BIO
After earning his medical degree, Dr. Danyal Hassan completed his Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship from the University of Pittsburgh, PA. Inspired by outstanding mentors during his residency, Dr. Hassan was drawn to the field of Nephrology. He admired how these clinicians solved the complex clinical challenges through careful thought processes and expertise. Since 2005, Dr. Hassan has been practicing Clinical and Interventional Nephrology. He later moved to Saudi Arabia with DaVita Dialysis to help establish the country’s first freestanding Vascular Access Center.
Dr. Hassan joined KSOSN for its strong Clinical, Research, and Interventional Nephrology Divisions, allowing him to stay current with the rapidly evolving field of Nephrology while continuing his practice in Interventional Nephrology. He is deeply committed to patient care and believes that through an integrated health care team, lifestyle changes, effective patient counseling, and preventive measures, the global rise in chronic kidney disease (CKD) can be managed. As Nephrology advances with improvements in dialysis, CKD treatment, and transplantation, Dr. Hassan emphasizes that early detection and prevention are crucial for better health outcomes.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Hassan enjoys spending time with his family. He is married with three children and enjoys trekking, traveling, sketching, and calligraphy.
