BIO

Dr. Angelie Santos is an interventional nephrologist at Kidney Specialists of Southern Nevada (KSOSN). She completed her medical degree at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, followed by an internal medicine residency at St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY. Dr. Santos then pursued both general nephrology and interventional nephrology fellowships at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Dr. Santos was drawn to nephrology for its balance of compassion and methodical reasoning. She has a particular interest in interventional nephrology, finding it gratifying to identify and manage dialysis access problems effectively. Dr. Santos views these procedures as an art form, allowing her to meet patients’ needs in a timely and efficient manner.

Dr. Santos completed her general nephrology fellowship in June 2023 and subsequently advanced her training in interventional nephrology at UW-Madison. During this time, she also worked as a clinical instructor, gaining valuable experience as a practicing nephrologist while teaching fellows, medical students, and residents.

In her practice, Dr. Santos focuses on building trusting relationships with patients by taking time to understand their needs and educate them about kidney disease. Her goal is to help patients become more involved in their health to delay the progression of chronic kidney disease.

Dr. Santos and her husband, both doctors from the Philippines, were drawn to Las Vegas for its warm climate, diverse lifestyle, and proximity to world-class entertainment. They enjoy spending time with their extended family who visit them in Las Vegas. Dr. Santos is excited to be part of KSOSN, one of the largest and well-established nephrology practices in Las Vegas, known for its high-quality, patient-focused medical treatment.
