Danielle graduated from Touro University as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a master’s degree in nursing. She is Board Certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has been in the healthcare industry for 10+ years and started work in Physical Therapy at Centennial Hospital and continued her education to become an APRN.

She has always been passionate about providing both proactive and reactive care. Nephrology gives her the chance to incorporate both when working with patients with chronic kidney disease. She will educate her patients on how to prevent the progress of their disease while also treating the current stage to prevent further kidney damage. She is passionate about advocating for her patients and providing them with valuable education about their health and conditions. She always wants to make sure the patients are heard, and questions are answered so they feel empowered.

Danielle had the opportunity to follow Dr. Nijim while doing clinic rotations. She quickly became intrigued and excited to learn and gain more knowledge about nephrology and more specifically, kidney transplants. She believes that KSOSN is a practice where patients are not another number. Providers develop lasting relationships with their patients and care about optimal outcomes. There is a sense of family among staff and patients that is rare and unmatched in the medical community.

She appreciates a multi-faceted approach to healthcare and believes working collaboratively is the best way to provide the best care. She will work with the patient to ensure favorable and sustainable outcomes.

Danielle was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA, moving to Las Vegas during the summer of 2010. She has 4 kids, 3 girls, and 1 boy; they are her pride and joy! Between everyday responsibilities, she enjoys early morning workouts balanced by indulging at new restaurants around town.
