Telemedicine

Welcome to KSOSN’s
Telemedicine Resource Page

This page is dedicated to ensuring you have a successful telehealth visit and are getting the most from your provider. If you need to convert your appointment to telehealth, please contact our office at 702-877-1887 to do so.

Beginning January 1, 2025, the statutory limitations that were put in place by Medicare for telehealth services before the COVID-19 PHE will retake effect for most telehealth services. These include geographic and location restrictions on where the services are provided and limitations on the scope of practitioners who can provide Medicare telehealth services. For the specialty of nephrology, patients must be seen in an office or medical facility located in a rural area to get most telehealth services unless your commercial health plan allows for continued telehealth services. Due to these changes, KSOSN will continue to provide telemedicine services in the rural area of Pahrump, NV, and to those patients whose insurance allows telehealth. Telehealth services will not be provided in the areas of Las Vegas, NV, Boulder City, NV, or Henderson, NV unless outlined above.

If you are a resident of Pahrump, NV or your insurance allows and need to convert your appointment to telemedicine, please contact our office at 702-877-1887.

KSOSN offers Telemedicine through Doximity.

A Telemedicine option with no application download.  We only require a smartphone with text, video, and microphone capabilities.

  • When it is time for your Telemedicine visit, your Patient Representative will call you at the time of your appointment.
  • The Patient Representative will verify all of your information as if you were in the clinic.
  • When it is your turn, the Medical Assistant will call you and complete your patient intake.  When that is complete, your provider will send a text message to your smartphone.
  • You will then be able to click on the link provided and it will open the video visit.
  • After your visit, your Patient Representative will call you and complete the check out process and schedule your follow-up appointment.
