Dr. Kevin Yu, D.O.

Dr. Kevin Yu became intrigued by the way the kidneys handle electrolytes in the body after obtaining an M.S. in Biochemistry. He completed his internal medicine residency in Valley Hospital Medical Center, Las Vegas and completed his nephrology fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles.

Dr. Yu chose to work at KSOSN because of its diverse number of nephrologists who are established in this field. Since his residency at VHMC in Las Vegas, Dr. Yu has been invested in the Las Vegas community and is excited to continue to serve the Las Vegas area as it grows.

Dr. Yu believes in shared decision making. He understands that everyone comes from different backgrounds with differing beliefs and he always try to form a treatment plan that will fit the patient’s lifestyle.

He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Society of Nephrology. He enjoys spending time with his family.
